A special note - our thoughts go out to Donald and his wife who lost Fancy today, March 26th. Fancy had a wonderful life with them for many years and I so appreciate the loving home they provided for her. You can see her recent picture below.
We have many wonderful dogs living with other families. Below are just a few. More pictures to come as I transfer pictures off my old computer. There is no order or reason to where I placed each dog's picture. They are all special in their own right. I do take special joy however in the older dogs that are still actively competing or out on the hiking trails like 13 year old Cubby, 10 year old Wiley and 9 year old Henry. Wiley at Cape Ferrello on the Oregon coast. Wiley and Steve enjoy hiking, mushroom hunting and fishing and live in Medford so I get to visit with Wiley fairly often.
Kachina is a Katy/Sparky daughter and lives in Idaho. Her mom, Tracy says Kachina is very affectionate and intelligent and always full of energy and ready for fun. Hiking in the Idaho mountains is one of her favorite things.
High Flyin' Pacey is a Bunny/Joe daughter. Pacey is titled in agility and just earned her first qualifying novice obedience score her first time in competition. Shannon has done a great job training this smart little minx.
Cubby, shown here at 10 years old, lives part of the year in eastern Wa and the rest in Nevada. He has participated in agility, obedience and rally over the years.

This beauty is Fancy, Cubby's littermate sister. Donald says Fancy is " The most wonderful dog in the World. At 13 she still has an amazing bounce to her step and is surprisingly quick in pursuit of squirrels."
Crystal Canyon's Gold Nugget. I borrowed Nugget to show in Scio, Or this fall from her owner, Linda. Nugget won Altered Winner's Bitch all three shows on Saturday. Nugget and Linda compete in the utility level of obedience but most importantly, Nugget is a therapy dog, loving and entertaining the elderly at a nursing home in Medford, Or.
Couldn't resist another Pacey picture. In Aussies, if two merles are bred together, you can get coloring similar to Pacey's but the dog can be blind and or deaf. - this is sometimes called "lethal white" Pacey IS NOT from a merle to merle breeding so her facial white is just excessive white, sometimes called pattern white and poses no health problems.
This gorgeous boy is Henry, a Katy and Hellon littermate. Henry and Keith live in Oregon and have explored the mountains of the northwest for the last 9 years. Picture taken fall 2013. Keith says Henry loves hiking in the Cascades, swimming and getting love from everyone.
Kamui lives in California with Mico and competes in agility. He is Gus' littermate brother and Pacey's half brother. According to Mico, he is very fast and absolutely loves agility which is no surprise considering both sides of his pedigree have generations of agility titled dogs going back to his great grandma Annie, my first agility dog who placed 4th in finals at the 2004 ASCA Nationals.
