In 2009, our kennel became #96 ASCA Hall of Fame kennel. In order to earn this highly prized title, a kennel must produce a minimum of 20 qualifying titles. Before changes were made to the program in 2003, a breeder could earn all 20 qualifying titles in either conformation or stock. After 2003, earning HOF became more challenging. Now a breeder must earn a minimum of 10 qualifying titles in both stock and conformation while the remaining 10 can come from other venues like agility, obedience, rally or tracking. These titles aren't beginning level titles either. They must be from the open or advanced levels, depending on the type of title. When we finally earned the last required stock title, we actually had a total of 27 qualifying titles. The additional titles came from the agility and obedience venues. A few years ago, ASCA developed a level above HOF, aptly named HOFX which requires an additional 20 qualifying titles. These qualifying titles are the highest level titles a dog can earn plus special championship titles like WTCHs, ATCHs, OTCH's etc. To date, there are less than 60 HOFX kennels. We are only a few titles away from this prestigious award. Below are some of the dogs that contributed to our HOF kennel.
